"Quantitative easing", a fancy name for printing money, punishes responsible folk who save their money and rewards bankers, Wall Street CEO's and the heads of union pension funds. It is a Ponzi scheme specifically designed to bankrupt the middle class. Now consider the sad state of higher education in this country. Our President has vigorously promoted taxpayer-subsidized and federally-controlled higher education as the one and only way to achieve success in America. He encouraged an entire generation to borrow huge sums of money to pursue highly questionable degrees. At $1.1 trillion, student debt now eclipses all other forms of household debt except for home mortgages. It is a ticking time bomb that is going to explode in the not too distant future. Meanwhile, our friends in the mainstream media choose to look the other way. Their lack of curiosity is positively breathtaking! All the while there is nary a peep from the GOP establishment in Washington D.C. When all is said and done I thought that Root laid out his case for conspiracy in a very thoughtful and workmanlike manner. He certainly pulled no punches. In fact, at several junctures in the first half of the book he posed the provocative question; "IS THIS PRESIDENT TOO BIG TO JAIL?"
There is little doubt that the future is fraught with danger for the average American. I was appalled to discover that close to 50% of the American people do not even have $500.00 in savings. In the second half of "The Murder of the Middle Class" Wayne Allyn Root offers some sage advice and common sense solutions to help us deal with the uncertainty that lies ahead. These suggestions are not only directed at the nation at large but several are aimed at you and your family. Central to his plan is the GOP shifting gears, embracing the views of the Tea Party, and becoming the party of small business and the middle class. This makes perfect sense to me. Understand that chronic unemployment and massive deficits and debt are going to persist until the American people finally decide that they have had enough of this administration's Socialist agenda and vote to change course.
I found "The Murder of the Middle Class: How to Save Yourself and Your Family from the Criminal Conspiracy of the Century" to be a meticulously researched and very well-written book. There are nearly 60 pages of notes at the end of the book. "The Murder of the Middle Class" is the first book I have read by Wayne Allyn Root. I must admit that I thoroughly enjoyed his rather flamboyant writing style. Highly recommended!
