Cassy is a great character. She pretends to be a witch, but she actually is a witch. Her spice shop sells all manner of ingredients which can be used to bake or work with spells. Havenhelm is an old fashioned town with lots of charm and the residents want to keep it that way. This is a fun and interesting story that you will love. Ms. Meadows is a wonderful writer and you will enjoy her writing style. Highly recommend this book.Product details

I received this book free from one of the book sites. I do not remember which one! This is my honest review.
This is a short cozy mystery with a magical flavor. Step into the lives of the Havenholm residents who are unable to keep their ire over Newmark Development buying up property to develop. After an uncomfortable town meeting, a body is discovered.
Cassie who owns a shop called The Spicery is pulled into investigating the "fatality" & finds another body!
The ending was unexpected and good.
I recommend this book.

the two murders that has in this small village and the woman who owns a shop that sells spices is a person who uses magic.
I like the idea of a witch owning a tea-spice shop. Would like to learn more about why Cassie considers herself a witch. Nice story with some twists and turns. But too short for me. I want more.
